re launching at eastside studios in september
Opening Weekend September 21-23!
We're so sad to say that we have been forced to cancel our Summer events at the Ellis Building. We will be re-launching at Eastside Studios this September! Don't worry, we still have fun Summer plans for you!
The Eastside Flea
The Eastside Flea is a fresh, modern flea market that takes place regularly all year round in Vancouver, BC. We hope to curate a one stop shop for locally made goodies and carefully selected vintage. Each event hosts over 50 local vendors selling diverse goods from handmade independent maker wares to vintage clothing, collectibles, plants, artisan food & more! You’ll also find food trucks, live vinyl deejays, pinball, outdoor courtyard, and other fun things to check out!
The Eastside Flea is relocating to Eastside Studios at 550 Malkin Ave. this September!
Eastside Studios is East Van's newest arts & culture hub and will be able to accommodate more vendors, food trucks, live music, art shows, workshops, speaker series, outdoor patio parties, and MORE!
We're so excited for this next chapter, catch us at our opening weekend September 21-23 at 550 Malkin Ave.
In addition to the markets we host workshops & community events under the East Van Arts & Culture Society. Our main initiative is to encourage our surrounding community to shop local, shop sustainable, and shop independent, supporting the local economy and helping small businesses grow, all the while having a good time!
We hope to see you at the Flea soon!

Our goal is to provide a fun, unique, organized, and inclusive vendor experience. But don't just take our word for it, here's what a few of our vendors have to say about the Flea!
Annie Axtell // @annieaxtell
Vend0r since Nov. 2016
"When I first started participating in markets I had recently moved to Vancouver. At the ESF I found an exceptionally welcoming and inclusive community. I have made countless connections that have allowed me to flourish and it has been a great platform for my growing business. I always have a great time, so much love."
Leigh Burrows // @RemixdVintage
Vendor since the very beginning
"I have been selling vintage clothing at the Eastside Flea since their very first market over five years ago. ESF is more than a fun and trendy place to sell, they've become like my family. Their regularly occuring markets give vendors the opportunity to create a regular income, and to create their own clientele, while staying on top of ever changing alternative fashion trends."
alexandra hulley // @nectrousbotanicals
vendor since feb. 2018
"My first experience at the ESF was ideal. As soon as you sign up you're sent a series of emails that tell you everything you need to know to about your display, load in, and ESF policies to make sure you're totally ready for the market. The staff are warm and welcoming, and walk around throughout the day to make sure everyone is happy, comfortable, and set up for success. There's a real special community at the ESF, and I can't wait to vend with them again."
East Vancouver Arts & Culture Society
The East Vancouver Arts & Culture Society is a newly formed sister organization to the Eastside Flea. It is a non-profit based out of the Ellis Building dedicated to supporting Vancouver's arts and culture community. Expect artisan workshops, art exhibits, seminars, accessible resources for independents and more!
Workshops are currently on hiatus, returning Fall 2018!
